Book Project

I am collecting personal experiences from self-identified real vampires for possible inclusion in a book about real vampires. I'm looking for essay responses to the following: 1.) How you came to identify as being a vampire, and 2.) What being a vampire means to you.

I'm not just looking for responses from vamps, but also the people who know them, are interested in them, and have to live with them. I'm looking for essay responses to: 1.) How are you involved with real vampires?, and 2.) What does your involvement/relationship with vampires mean to you?

The length of your response should be between 4,000 and 12,000 characters (including spaces). There is not currently a deadline for this project.

If you would like to contribute your material for consideration to be included in a future publication, please submit it along with the completed Copyright Release Form*, to the address below. Read on for the requirements.

• Attach your material and a filled-out copy of the Copyright Release Form to the email.

Send by Postal Mail: Vampire Book, c/o E. Widell, 1091 W Beta, #2102, Green Valley, AZ 85614 USA.

• Include your submission on a computer disc. Print and fill out the Copyright Release Form. Sign it, and include it along with your submission.

Requirements:

• Submissions should be between 4,000 and 12,000 characters, including spaces.
• Submissions should be in .txt, .doc, or .rtf  format.  The text needs to be black on a white background, and an easily readable font, such as Arial, Times, Verdana, Georgia, etc.; nothing fancy or decorative. The text size should be in a normal sized range (i.e., no really, really tiny or large font sizes!), preferably size 10 or 12.
• Proofread!  Please check your submission for spelling, capitalization, punctuation and grammatical errors before you submit it; submissions may be edited for these errors, clarity and brevity.
• Do not submit in ALL CAPS.
• Completely fill out and include the Copyright Release Form along with your submission.
• If sending by email, submissions and Copyright Release Form should be sent as email attachments; I may contact you by postal mail or email in reference to your submission.
• If sending by postal mail, be sure to print, fill out and sign the Copyright Release Form and include it with your disc.

* Personal information you submit via the Copyright Release Form will remain confidential and will be used only for copyright records and contacting you in relation to the publication or your submission.
