Vampire Poll Responses, Page 22

Share |  | Vote for Us |

Back in the days when Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page was located on AOL, I was able to run a short questionnaire from a modified guestbook script hosted by AOL. Once I moved the site off of AOL's servers, I no longer had the ability to run the response form off their script. I've not found anything suitable since then to use, so I'm not running the poll any longer or accepting new resonses; this may change someday if I find a suitable script to use.

The poll ran from 3 January, 1998 until 31 December, 2000. I have archived the responses the poll recieved in this section, and guests are still able view them.

Name: Bride Doll
Web Page:
Gender: Female
Age: 39
Response: Pretty ordinary people I should think. Obviously I have this Hollywood fantasy about them, but it probably doesn't come up to the reality. I should think most of them are rather lovely people. Well, I hope they are anyway. Any chance of going political by the way? I can imagine them coming out before long like the gays. Vampire Pride marches maybe? Support the Red Pound as opposed to the Pink Pound maybe? Red balloons and Red triangles instead of Pink ones? In other words, are vamps going to walk the political route. Now that would shock a lot of people. Wish you all the best. Regards, Bride.

Name: Suzanne
Web Page:
Gender: Female
Age: 39
Response: From what I have learned from the Net, I don't think you could necessarily recognise a vampire from an ordinary person. Whatever they think about themselves or their own situation, I still think they are rather erotic creatures. I don't think they are generally evil. You might get the odd one who is. At the end of the day, though, I see them as highly predatory human beings. I would love to meet one, but that might not be wise. Kind Regards. Suzanne.

Response: i believe each human has a beastial side that was originally developed back in the days before we became a culture, and were nothing but roving animals... i believe that vampyrism (and therianthropy to a lesser degree) are simply this same basic behaviour nature manifest -- that would include the heightened emotional states and predatory nature, among other things, that many vampyres show. normally, these are things that our community as a whole definately does not encourage and it was only a matter of time before base human nature began to show it's face again.

Name: Darkraven
Web Page: not ready yet
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Response: Vampires are normal people, who just happen to be vampires. As in, they are not undead creatures holding supernatural powers, but they can be more psychic, emotional etc, than other people, and of course have the vampiric symptoms...they can be like anyone, there is no set personality that a vampire has...

Name: Jason
Web Page: nope
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Response: I think they're just like anyone else they just have an Illness and are not evil monsters in any way and too many people think they are... / I just posted a message. I used the term "They" for vampires instead of "We" because I didn't want to speak for every vampire because others may not agree with my opinion. That could be offensive and no one wants that... Oh yeah and vampires aren't "exactly" like everyone else but close enough to not make them truly "Different", we're all humans we must get along. Thank you

Eerie America TV Series

Eerie America could very well be called The Fodor’s Travel Guidebook for The Addams Family. I read some in-depth information about the show and saw the promo, and from what I can tell, this will be an absolutely AWESOME series if they can get it off the ground. (I'm actually praying they will.) Let others know and see who can help. This is something that should happen! Let's pull together and make it so!
