Vampire Poll Responses, Page 21

Share |  | Vote for Us |

Back in the days when Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page was located on AOL, I was able to run a short questionnaire from a modified guestbook script hosted by AOL. Once I moved the site off of AOL's servers, I no longer had the ability to run the response form off their script. I've not found anything suitable since then to use, so I'm not running the poll any longer or accepting new resonses; this may change someday if I find a suitable script to use.

The poll ran from 3 January, 1998 until 31 December, 2000. I have archived the responses the poll recieved in this section, and guests are still able view them.

Response: I think vampires are wanting to learn and go into their own space when they take energy or blood, they want to be close. I think vampires are smart people, and they are beautiful. but I really think vampires want to learn and find out something by all of this.

Response: Everyday people, diverse just like everyone else. United by the need to 'feed' off of blood/prana/emotion to maintain a healthy life. I strongly encourage those with any interest of the subject to look around them. You may even find family members or friends with the same issues, and you never suspected it.

Response: Like in their thoughts? Well, I think they're like everyone else.. We all need love, trust, friendship. We all hate, loath, and fear, we also all cry and be sad. Vampires are like normal people, they want, and need just like everyone else. Physically, they couldn't be different. I, myself, am more pale than most people, on the simple fact that I wish not to be in the sun, since it makes my stomach hurt and is incredibly hot and weighty on my shoulders. That's my opinion on what I think they're like. Normal emotions and thoughts in a person different than everyone else.

Name: John Cripps
Web Page:
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Response: Well this is an odd question.... In my time I've had the honour of meeting a number of vampire's and on first impressions thay are normal people with normal lives. The only indication that there is something diffrent about the person is when they get close to you and you feel that "tug" on your aura as they (subconciously) start to feed from the Pranic Energy that people put out. The Natural reaction to this is that you feel "at odds" with this person and uncomfortable being around him/her. The personality of a vampire is as varied as any other human being which, apart from the need for energy, they are. I hope that covers it. :-)

Name: Luna
Web Page: Silent Worlds
Gender: Female
Age: now, now. What kind of question is that to ask?
Response: Vampyres survive on energies and some on blood. I think the energy can come from any living thing. Generally other people. Many hide what they are because of the response that comes from their friends and family around them. I think that when a vampyre does not fulfill their needs they often become sick and depressed (personal experience talking there.) There are so many ways that we are the same as our nieghbors and co-workers but it is the differences that keep us from reaching out to others (not like us). It is the fear of knowing the responses. Most vampyres are very sensitive to others' feelings and thoughts. I think that many have a hunger that seems very unquenchable for them. I know I am a kind, loving, sensitive ~person~ that requires the same from my mates and the people I allow close to me. Although I tend NOT to allow many people to get close. I think as we grow we are drawn to others like us even if we do not realize why or what we or they are. In the end we are just like most everyone out there, we need to have love and kindness around us to make it.

Name: Stacy Hill

Gender: Female

Response: I am a Christian woman that believes in the Living God of the Bible. I am praying for people that are medically ill in the symptoms of vampirism. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to heal all and that I am claiming that for all in this group. Jesus can set anyone free and I pray that the Holy Spirit will penetrate your hearts and that you will know Him and take Him as your savior. I bind all powers of satan and the strongholds that are binding people up in this lifestyle that they can see the truth. In Jesus Name, Amen..so be it

Eerie America TV Series

Eerie America could very well be called The Fodor’s Travel Guidebook for The Addams Family. I read some in-depth information about the show and saw the promo, and from what I can tell, this will be an absolutely AWESOME series if they can get it off the ground. (I'm actually praying they will.) Let others know and see who can help. This is something that should happen! Let's pull together and make it so!
