Back in the days when Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page was located on AOL, I was able to run a short questionnaire from a modified guestbook script hosted by AOL. Once I moved the site off of AOL's servers, I no longer had the ability to run the response form off their script. I've not found anything suitable since then to use, so I'm not running the poll any longer or accepting new resonses; this may change someday if I find a suitable script to use.

The poll ran from 3 January, 1998 until 31 December, 2000. I have archived the responses the poll recieved in this section, and guests are still able view them.

Response: what are vampires like think they have varying personalities depending on who they how they have been raised and so forth--I have met many a person that claimed they were a vampire--But I have never seen them do what they have claimed -- usually things you see on movies and such -- I believe that have run into my fair share of vampires real vampires -- but they usually avoided me so I kept away from them not wanting them to react badly to a attention I might give them -- mostly I think they are an aspect of reality that hasn't always been approached properly (violence and such) -- but can be lived with and understood --

Response: First of all, you people who are mortal that think you're vampires...you're all idiots. You may drink blood or live in darkness but you aren't vampires. You are something else. You disgrace the name vampire. Vampires are the perfect creatures. They are immortal and they drink blood. There are legends of ancient vampires that say this. I don't know anything of modern vampires but if I could I'd want to be one of them. They are eternal. I forgot to mention that they can be killed but its not an easy thing to do. So I suppose they aren't entirely immortal.

Response: What do I think vampires are like? Well I believe that half the stuff they say in movies or in books are not real. A lot of it is made up. I do believe that they were real at the time only today we have different names for them. I do not know the medical term for it right now but it's the thing where you have, low iron in your blood (I have this) [Ed: anemia]. anyways I think that in the old days (before we learned about all this medical stuff) There were people just like me. They looked rather pale because 1. if you have this bad enough it tends to do that, and 2. they probably were afraid of showing themselves thinking they were freaks (meaning never getting any sun light because it would be sensitive to your skin) What probably started the "I come to drink your blood" thing was someone discovered that by drinking blood that person would feel better (it could have been animal blood because any blood has a lot of iron in it which would make you feel better). Because when you have a low iron problem like me you need to take pills with iron in it (you're really really tired or else).
