Back in the days when Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page was located on AOL, I was able to run a short questionnaire from a modified guestbook script hosted by AOL. Once I moved the site off of AOL's servers, I no longer had the ability to run the response form off their script. I've not found anything suitable since then to use, so I'm not running the poll any longer or accepting new resonses; this may change someday if I find a suitable script to use.

The poll ran from 3 January, 1998 until 31 December, 2000. I have archived the responses the poll recieved in this section, and guests are still able view them.

I should think most of them are rather lovely people. Well, I hope they are anyway. Any chance of going political by the way? I can imagine them coming out before long like the gays. Vampire Pride marches maybe? Support the Red Pound as opposed to the Pink Pound maybe? Red balloons and Red triangles instead of Pink ones? Response: From what I have learned from the Net, I don't think you could necessarily recognise a vampire from an ordinary person. Whatever they think about themselves or their own situation, I still think they are rather erotic creatures. I don't think they are generally evil. You might get the odd one who is. At the end of the day, though, I see them as highly predatory human beings. I would love to meet one, but that might not be wise. Kind Regards. Suzanne.

Response: i believe each human has a beastial side that was originally developed back in the days before we became a culture, and were nothing but roving animals... i believe that vampyrism (and therianthropy to a lesser degree) are simply this same basic behaviour nature manifest -- that would include the heightened emotional states and predatory nature, among other things, that many vampyres show. normally, these are things that our community as a whole definately does not encourage and it was only a matter of time before base human nature began to show it's face again.

As in, they are not undead creatures holding supernatural powers, but they can be more psychic, emotional etc, than other people, and of course have the vampiric symptoms...they can be like anyone, there is no set personality that a vampire has...

I used the term "They" for vampires instead of "We" because I didn't want to speak for every vampire because others may not agree with my opinion. That could be offensive and no one wants that...
