Vampire Poll Responses, Page 15

Sanguinarius Toolbar - Vote for Sanguinarius

Back in the days when Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page was located on AOL, I was able to run a short questionnaire from a modified guestbook script hosted by AOL. Once I moved the site off of AOL's servers, I no longer had the ability to run the response form off their script. I've not found anything suitable since then to use, so I'm not running the poll any longer or accepting new resonses; this may change someday if I find a suitable script to use.

The poll ran from 3 January, 1998 until 31 December, 2000. I have archived the responses the poll recieved in this section, and guests are still able view them.

Response: I believe vampires are dark, lonely people. I have few friends but many acquaintances....I do not let people get close to me nor do they know much about me. Those who do not understand us...will live in fear, masking it as rubbish to my kind.

Response: I think Vampires are like regular "humans" only different in their needs. They don't have special flying powers or anything like that and sun does not turn them to dust, but tends to hurt their eyes.

Web Page:
Gender: Male

Response: If Vampires truly exist i don't know. I highly doubt their existence. But if, and i strongly stress the word if, they are real then i would think them to be immortals who are not susceptible to diseases, have something of remarkable healing abilities, and other supernatural powers. And according to what some say they can walk in the day but are at their strongest at night. Legend has it their weaknessess are water, garlic, stake in the heart, and on. Blade stuff like silver bullets something like that. But i think [opinion] that those who do claim to be a vampire are just normal people looking for a hobby or something to help them get through the difficulties of life. They want something to make them feel special. Everyone would like to THINK they are someone better, someone strong and powerful. Take in my mind this is my first visit to this site; i don't wish to offend anyone, but only give my honest OPINION of what "vampires" are really like.

Response: Vampires are extreme people. Depending on what kind of vampire you are inquiring, they have spice for life. Whether they are simply a lifestyler, or claim to be real, they are extreme in a good way. If all the world was vanilla, we would grow bored with it quick, you take normal vanilla and drizzle it with cherries and peanuts, then you have something new to enjoy. Vampires are extra sensitive, artistic in many ways, intuitive, and articulate. They are dramatic, intriguing and love performance.

Response: Personally, vampires are whatever they wish to be. You can have a large group of vampires acting in similar ways, or have some that are seemingly outcast by the rest of "society" because they don't seem to follow the same "code" as the others do. Being a vampire is a state of mind, and as long as you and the people close to you (family, donor...etc.) aren't being badly affected by such a state of mind, there is nothing wrong with it.
