Hosting for Sanguinarius.org is $54 semi-annually. Monthly internet connection costs about $45. Plus an indeterminate amount for phone line, electricity used, paper, ink cartridges, registering necessary software/scripts, and other sundry site- and community-related expenses incurred.
I'm hoping to purchase for review several nonfiction books aimed at real vampires and therians. Projected cost is around $40-ish.

Sanguinarius.org is free, so why donate?
Because such a huge website like Sanguinarius.org costs money to run, and I am on a fixed income. Running Sanguinarius.org and all the associated costs (domain registration, monthly hosting fees, internet access, script registration, etc.) is all paid for out of my own pocket. Much of the functionality Sanguinarius.org offers (such as The Real Vampire Directory (defunct), The Vampiric Community Events Calendar (defunct), the web-based IRC Chat, etc.) are scripts which have to be registered, and that costs money that I really don't have; it comes out of a very small amount of money that would otherwise be spent for living expenses. So that Sanguinarius.org can afford to bring visitors and site users more and better services, features, resources and functionality.
I don't get a penny for the time and effort I spend on keeping this site updated. A professional webmaster who spent as much time as I do on a site of this size would be making thousands for his time and effort. And that is just talking about the website itself, -- not even mentioning the time I spend on behind-the-scenes efforts to develop and network the community and real vampires, develop and implement materials, short and long range plans, goals, etc.
If having access to Sanguinarius.org's information and resources is useful to you, then please choose one of the available options and donate a few dollars at least. Making a donation is fast, secure and easy. Whether you donate $2 or $1000, you will be helping to keep Sanguinarius.org afloat and running smoothly. Thank you.
How much should I give?
You need to ask yourself how much are the services and information which Sanguinarius.org provides worth to you? Whether you can give $2 or $100, it is welcomed and will go toward helping finance the operation of Sanguinarius.org as well as developing and bringing new and better resources to the vampiric community.
What if I don't or can't make a donation online?
Feel free to send a donation to Sanguinarius through the mail to:
Where will the money go?
As stated above, every donation received will go towards helping keep Sanguinarius.org / Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page alive and running, and continuing to develop the site and bring you and other visitors more, useful and better resources. A note: The payment service that I use, Paypal, does take their cut out of the total amount that I receive. For example, Paypal usually takes out from 0.7% to 2.9% plus 30¢ per transaction (it doesn't cost you, though). For more information about PayPal's fees, click here.
Other Ways to Help Out
If you don't wish to make a donation, at least check out the items I offer in my my Zazzle store (I have some unique Sanguinarius t-shirts and mousepads), Bats & Shadows, or my Sangi's Attic Store. That way, you'd be getting something tangible (other than the information and resources I provide). If you don't see anything you want, consider buying a gift for somebody else.
Click on my sponsors' advertisements and explore their sites; I usually get a few cents for each click-thru, at least for the non-vampire sites (but check those out, too -- that's why I have them listed).
Or buy advertising on Sanguinarius.org and advertise your own site or product. :D More info coming soon.
Buy me something from my Amazon.com Wish List. This will help keep me entertained during the brief times that I am not online.
Pay it forward. If Sanguinarius.org has helped you in some way, but you don't wish to spend money or make a donation, I ask that you "pay it forward". Help someone else out: smile at a stranger, answer a newbie's questions, pick up some trash along your street, do something to make your corner of the world a better place.
Eerie America TV Series
Eerie America could very well be called The Fodors Travel Guidebook for The Addams Family. I read some in-depth information about the show and saw the promo, and from what I can tell, this will be an absolutely AWESOME series if they can get it off the ground. (I'm actually praying they will.) Let others know and see who can help. This is something that should happen! Let's pull together and make it so!
