What questions should I ask my doctor?

Stick to the basics, the problems. Just explain what you are feeling without mentioning the blood and “v-word”.

Example: When I go, I usually ask/state the following:

1) I have been feeling tired and run-down lately

2) I seem to be drinking more than usual, but still feeling thirsty. Is there something we could look for as the cause?

3) I seem more awake at night, and asleep in the day. It is interfering with my classes/job. Is there something that could help that?

4) I seem to have problems with food every now and then (diarrhea, stomach pain, etc.)

Things like that give your doctor a place to start and make sure there is not some serious underlying problem.
