Sanguinarius.org for Real Vampires The foremost real vampire information & resource site on the 'Net -- Established
This site, excluding the Teen
Vampires section, is intended for mature viewers 17 or older.
This Conference was held as a way of introducing this topic to members
of the community with a vested interest in the changes involved in Aging,
as a Vampyre, and a way for Vampyres over 35 to get to know other Vampyres
going through similar issues.
While no great epiphanies were forthcoming, it was a wonderful experience
for all of us who participated and was a wonderful prelude to other Aging
Conferences I hope the community will continue to hold.
Vampyric Aging is not a studied topic at this time. Many Vampyres who
are going through the process find comfort in the company of others going
through this trying period, and we all agree... we are not aging like
most of our mundane relatives, and many of us are interested in defining
the differences between Mundane aging and the process we Vampyre go through,
for future reference and those who come after us.
There is very real comfort in knowing we are NOT ALONE!

[16:01] LadyCG brings meeting to order
[16:01] <NightDove> I will never turn this computer off... nope..
[16:01] <LadyCG> lmao!!!!!
[16:01] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[16:01] <Teezer> lol
[16:02] <Sanguinarius> <@LadyCG> Apparently Catherene couldn't
figure the irc thing out, lol...
[16:02] <Sanguinarius> aww, darn...
[16:02] <SphynxCatVP> bummer!
[16:02] <LadyCG> lol.. I figured you'd feel that way, lol
[16:02] <NightDove> Nightpoe ??
[16:02] <SphynxCatVP> I even sent her a couple emails too
[16:02] <LadyCG> but I wanted to hear her story, I really did
[16:02] <SphynxCatVP> next time maybe
[16:02] <SphynxCatVP> I'll have better instructions up for the next
[16:02] <Sanguinarius> *nod*
[16:03] <LadyCG> I know my own experience with vamp aging has been
VERY ... weird...
[16:03] <vlad2292000> if nothing else, this is a good "dry
[16:03] <LadyCG> and from what she has on her site hers must be
[16:03] <Lilith_girl_> mine too
[16:03] <NightDove> I'm not out of sympathy with Ms. Nightpoe. She
seems to be a nice woman
[16:04] <LadyCG> yes.. Lilith and I became friends because we were
going through the same very strange things.. or very similar.. and vampiressuk
as well, though she can't get in apparently
[16:04] <SphynxCatVP> I sent her pointers to the java page, and
to a Mac irc proggy
[16:04] <LadyCG> I don't mind Catherene
[16:04] <vlad2292000> I think I'll add irc to my system, before
[16:05] <LadyCG> when I first found her site I thought she was BAKED...
but the older I get the more I wonder... maybe I'm getting senile, cause
some of it is beginning to make an insane kind of sense.
[16:05] <LadyCG> I use Pirch, Vlad, but most people prefer mIRC
[16:05] <Teezer> the only problem I have with her site is the immortal
vamp stuff.. *shrugs*
[16:05] <Lilith_girl_> that we did lady....and I got to the point
of I feed from wherever I can
[16:05] <Teezer> a lil too...Hollywood??
[16:05] <vlad2292000> the insanity of it all is misleading, at best.
[16:06] <LadyCG> I might be one of the few people I know who doesn't
scoff TOO much about that... the reason being no matter how smart we think
we are and no matter HOW much we THINK we know... we do not know everything
[16:06] <NightDove> There may be immortals... somewhere.... I'm
[16:06] <Teezer> very true
[16:06] <EloraGrey> I'm back now
[16:06] <Teezer> who knows.
[16:06] <Teezer> wb
[16:06] <LadyCG> me too Lilith
[16:07] <LadyCG> I HAVE to have blood now.. not like when I was
[16:07] <vlad2292000> we don't actually know that. all of my family
dies of massive stroke, so I have not an idea of our lifespan.
[16:07] <Lilith_girl_> lol...I guess that comes with age...the newly
awakened worries about that and the elders don't its trivial
[16:07] <LadyCG> When I was younger I got by lots on psi.. I can't
do that anymore.. it doesn't help much now
[16:07] <EloraGrey> ty teezer
[16:08] <EloraGrey> yeah I'm much the same way myself
[16:08] <Teezer> I've noticed lately a change in my body temp..
I feel the same but my skin temp is hotter? My son says I'm burning him
when I touch him? I think hes exaggerating a lil though.. lol
[16:08] <NightDove> I don't drink blood... I just get weirder and
[16:08] <SphynxCatVP> I've been hitting the vitamins to head off
the family health problems
[16:08] <SphynxCatVP> so far I'm winning
[16:08] <EloraGrey> ooh the body temp thing!
[16:08] <Nightdancer> I always thought I was not sanguine but now
at this age...starting to think I was wrong...taking a second look ...I
cannot do what I use to with managing energy
[16:08] <LadyCG> my temp is normal at over 100F, lol. so I am overheated
[16:08] <EloraGrey> the other day I was feeling a little off and
took my temp - i was roasting and my temp was 96.3
[16:08] <vlad2292000> it has seemed to me, that women need more
blood, and men actually psy more as age comes on.
[16:08] <Lilith_girl_> menopause perhaps
[16:08] <Lilith_girl_> ???
[16:08] <SphynxCatVP> interesting
[16:09] <Nightdancer> I think that is common perhaps...
[16:09] <Lilith_girl_> Vamp-o-Pause...lol
[16:09] <SphynxCatVP> that's an interesting quirk
[16:09] <LadyCG> hawkmoor will agree with that Vlad.. he mostly
Psi feeds now and he is nearing 50
[16:09] <Teezer> my temp is normal.. but my skin feels hotter...you
can actually feel the heat coming off me.
[16:09] <Nightdancer> I have been like that for years...subnormal
temp and hot
[16:09] <EloraGrey> vampopause lol
[16:09] <vlad2292000> the temp thing also is in men.
[16:09] <SphynxCatVP> I prefer my room temp around 65
[16:09] <Lilith_girl_> I have low blood pressure low body temp and
[16:09] <LadyCG> I call it vamp menopause.... but it doesn't really
have anything to DO with menopause
[16:10] <SphynxCatVP> well, not mundane menopause, no...
[16:10] <Teezer> my bp is high..
[16:10] <SphynxCatVP> mine's low
[16:10] <Sanguinarius> back *scrolls up to catch up*
[16:10] <NightDove> I had a very easy mundane menopause..
[16:10] <SphynxCatVP> high heart rate, low blood pressure
[16:10] <LadyCG> WE need to start somewhere.. so... let start with
[16:10] <Sanguinarius> *tries to tune out the game show in the background*
[16:10] <LadyCG> how many people here have been through a sort of
2nd awakening that seems to cause physical changes?
[16:10] <vlad2292000> bp a bit high, temp high, but not out of "normal"
[16:11] <EloraGrey> That's where I seem to be right now CG
[16:11] <EloraGrey> like at the beginning fringes
[16:11] <Teezer> I've always been hot blooded...out in shirtsleeves
[16:11] <Lilith_girl_> me
[16:11] <SphynxCatVP> I've noticed my photosensitivity getting more
[16:11] <NightDove> me....my body completely changed and I collapsed
and nearly died.
[16:11] <SphynxCatVP> my high temperature tolerance has dropped,
but that could be from working temp-controlled data centers for a decade
[16:11] <LadyCG> I nearly died as well nightdove...
[16:11] <Teezer> yea I have to wear my shades all the time almost..
[16:11] <Sanguinarius> *nods* same here
[16:11] <vlad2292000> light is worse, anger management is better,
but power seems to have grown more of late.
[16:12] <Sanguinarius> I use to prefer heat to cold by far, but
now I tend to opt for mild temps
[16:12] <EloraGrey> I can't go out without my shades. Just thinking
about it makes my eyes hurt.
[16:12] <Sanguinarius> mild to cool
[16:12] <LadyCG> I can only speak for myself.. but I knew from knowing
Lilith so well I was NOT the only vamp to go through a very severe physical
[16:12] <Teezer> yah.. cant take the heat.. prefer cooler temps.
[16:12] <Lilith_girl_> it was rough
[16:12] <SphynxCatVP> I'm wondering if some of that severity can
be warded off with a hefty vitamin regime
[16:12] <LadyCG> in my case my entire body changed.. one system
at a time.
[16:12] <NightDove> I can take cold better now.. heat is deadly
[16:12] <vlad2292000> if we work in the weather, it seems lees extreme
[16:13] <EloraGrey> yeah that's what my husband says
[16:13] <EloraGrey> he works in an amazon.com warehouse that's not
heated nor air conditioned
[16:13] <EloraGrey> I don't know how he stands it
[16:13] <SphynxCatVP> giiigh
[16:13] <SphynxCatVP> the thought makes my brain curdle
[16:13] <LadyCG> I don't do extremes of heat or cold very well
[16:13] <vlad2292000> doing the vitamins is good, but so far no
[16:13] <SphynxCatVP> what vitamins are you doing?
[16:13] <EloraGrey> oh mine too. :curdle curdle:
[16:13] <LadyCG> I'd like to know if anyone else here went through
the same thing or similar to what I did.
[16:14] <Teezer> I am low in iron.. have to supplement.
[16:14] <Lilith_girl_> my cravings got fierce and I was like a new
born putting everything in my mouth or should I say everyone...lol
[16:14] <Nightdancer> I don't like heat...why I like San Diego...where
I live its mild most of the time.
[16:14] <SphynxCatVP> I'm taking a cubic assload of C, 1,000IU's
of E, a super-uber b-complex, and 1,200units of D
[16:14] <EloraGrey> now I'm the opposite, Teezer. I can't take in
any extra iron or B-complex. They make me ill
[16:14] <Teezer> its unseasonably warm here right now.
[16:14] <Teezer> also low on iodine? *shrugs*
[16:14] <NightDove> I don't take vitamins either.. they make me
[16:14] <vlad2292000> Heavy on the d. extra calcium. and others
at slightly higher than normal levels
[16:14] <EloraGrey> I can't do salt or iodine either
[16:15] <LadyCG> when I went through it my cravings increased exponentially...
one system at a time my body broke down on me.. I'd get so sick I thought
I'd DIE.. then just when it seemed I was not going ot make it, my body
flips around...heals up and works better than it used to
[16:15] <NightDove> I live on potassium chloride...
[16:15] <Teezer> I take spells of craving salt..
[16:16] <NightDove> LadyCG.. did you stop eating so much starch?
[16:16] <SphynxCatVP> I have kosher salt for the salt cravings
[16:16] <SphynxCatVP> I've found it's also good mixed with beef
[16:16] <Lilith_girl_> I am healthy now except for anxiety but I
have my Valiums...lol
[16:16] <vlad2292000> just watch it, as we have a tendency to retain
water. more than most.
[16:16] <EloraGrey> Valium is our friend
[16:16] <Sanguinarius> what's the difference between regular salt
and kosher salt?
[16:16] <Lilith_girl_> Valiums????
[16:16] <LadyCG> at one point I had two heart attacks in less than
3 months... chest pains.. it was AWEFUL... the doctors had me on nitro,
and blood pressure pills... I was very ill... then out of the blue after
almost a year.. **poof. I was all better... the scarring disappeared,
I passed every stress test with flying colors and the doctors threw their
hands in the air and said I was fine
[16:16] <NightDove> No iodine in Kosher salt and larger crystals
[16:16] <LadySlinky> size
[16:17] <Ku_Shin> I just use plain rock salt
[16:17] <Sanguinarius> If I retain too much water, I end up feeling
lousy, having headaches, etc.
[16:17] <LadySlinky> and its been approved by a rabbi
[16:17] <Sanguinarius> LadyCG, how old were you when all that happened?
[16:17] <NightDove> If you hold water take some Potassium chloride
[16:17] <Teezer> lack of sleep too.. only get @ 3 - 4 hrs a night..
[16:17] <EloraGrey> I've been having BAD problems with insomnia
[16:17] <LadyCG> nightdove I live almost entirely on blood now..
to be honest... blood and nearly raw steaks, and vitamins
[16:18] <LadySlinky> I had something like that happen with my last
pregnancy. Total chemical rework.
[16:18] <LadyCG> I was about 38
[16:18] <Sanguinarius> I drink coffee...it's a diuretic
[16:18] <Teezer> *lives on coffee*
[16:18] <vlad2292000> any caffeine helps, but not with sleep issues!
[16:18] <EloraGrey> I had to go off caffeine a little over a year
[16:18] <LadyCG> I drink a lot of coffee too but I'm still asthmatic
and coffee help me
[16:19] <Sanguinarius> coffee -- the miracle drink (well, apart
from blood, lol). Helps with migraines, too, because it constricts the
[16:19] <Teezer> *drinks it black*
[16:19] <LadyCG> Lilith.. didn't you go through chest pains too
for a while?
[16:19] <vlad2292000> yes
[16:19] <Lilith_girl_> I am fine now except for the anxiety but
that comes with being a mom, grandma, and unemployed student
[16:19] <Lilith_girl_> YES very bad
[16:19] <Nightdancer> Does anyone here constantly get asked if you
[16:19] <Sanguinarius> I can drink a cup of coffee and fall asleep
(not decaf, either...*Bela Lugosi voice* I never drink...decaf...)
[16:19] <vlad2292000> i had the pains too, but all gone now.
[16:19] <Lilith_girl_> I thought I was dying
[16:20] <EloraGrey> I do Nightdancer
[16:20] <SphynxCatVP> Not constantly, but occasionally I have days
where I look paler than usual
[16:20] <Lilith_girl_> that all went away
[16:20] <NightDove> I developed breathing troubles and heart troubles
[16:20] <SphynxCatVP> everyone asks me if I'm sick
[16:20] <Ku_Shin> I suffer really bad from anemia
[16:20] <LadyCG> I used to be anemic.. but I do well on my present
diet.. in fact I am quite healthy now for the most part
[16:20] <Ku_Shin> badly even
[16:20] <SphynxCatVP> not anemic otherwise
[16:20] <Teezer> don't get me started on migraines.. O.o
[16:20] <SphynxCatVP> an occupational hazard, I'm afraid
[16:20] <Nightdancer> I had to go to doctors...I get quirky things...say
I have CFIDS And Fibro...and first thing...got that test for anemia
[16:21] <vlad2292000> with a constant donor, I am better than I
have been in ten years.
[16:21] <Lilith_girl_> wow we sound like a bunch from a nursing
[16:21] <Nightdancer> been doing that to me all my life and some
of my children and their children too...I never am
[16:21] <EloraGrey> lol
[16:21] <LadyCG> how many here, besides myself an Vlad, get a steady
diet with blood?
[16:21] <Nightdancer> I cannot be in the sun more than about twenty
minutes without a burn
[16:21] <SphynxCatVP> just don't drag out the depends....
[16:21] SphynxCatVP cringes
[16:21] <NightDove> I had CFIDS too until I was diagnosed with Celiac
disease.. now I'm just your average vampire. LOL
[16:21] <SphynxCatVP> lol
[16:21] <Teezer> no donor here.
[16:22] <Sanguinarius> not I. I don't even have a donor right now.
[16:22] <Teezer> I burn in the sun easily too
[16:22] <LadyCG> I drink a lot of animal blood when I do not have
a donor.. but I HAVE to have blood of some kind..
[16:22] <Lilith_girl_> the sun doesn't bother me I cant breathe
when its sunny but it doesn't burn...but I have an Italian complexion
[16:22] <Teezer> I blister O.O
[16:22] <EloraGrey> how are you defining "steady"? lol
[16:22] <Nightdancer> I notice a trend though since talking to many
[16:22] <LadyCG> fairly regular, enough to make you feel better
[16:22] <EloraGrey> then ''d say I qualify
[16:22] <Nightdancer> immune system problems...nervous system and
light and sun sensitivities...chemical too
[16:22] <Nightdancer> all about the environment
[16:23] <Teezer> *is a diabetic*
[16:23] <Sanguinarius> the sun feels very hot on my skin, like a
heat lamp or putting your hand over a toaster, and I can burn easily,
but I stay out of it for the most part
[16:23] <LadyCG> I found when I switched to more blood in my diet
many of my problems became more manageable
[16:23] <Lilith_girl_> I can't breathe when its hot and sunny and
I am very tired when I am in the sun that's all it does to me
[16:23] <Sanguinarius> but I used to have to burn in order for it
to turn into a tan later
[16:23] <LadyCG> I don't do well in sun.. ask Sphynx, lol
[16:23] <Teezer> heat makes it hard for me to breathe too.
[16:23] <SphynxCatVP> heh, yea, I had to walk her through dealing
[16:23] <Lilith_girl_> I don't burn I tan
[16:23] <Teezer> I burn...peel ..and back where I started. LOL
[16:24] <Lilith_girl_> lol
[16:24] <LadyCG> I found a solution to my sun problems, or most
of them.. but I have to actually DO it for it to work...
[16:24] <Sanguinarius> what is that?
[16:24] <SphynxCatVP> btw, if any of you get heatstroke/sunstroke....
hop in a cold shower... worry about shivers when they actually happen
[16:24] <vlad2292000> 20 or so years ago, I could work in the sun
without a shirt. now I blister in less than an hour.
[16:24] <LadyCG> I start in about march... 3 minutes in a tanning
bed and over the course of three months I go up to 10...slowly!
[16:24] <SphynxCatVP> heh, fake-n-bake
[16:24] <LadyCG> it helps me adapt to sun before summer
[16:24] <Teezer> lukewarm is better than cold.. cold will be a shock
to the system.
[16:24] <LadyCG> like allergy shots
[16:24] <LadyCG> lol
[16:25] <Lilith_girl_> I love just laying in the tanning beds without
the lights on...lololol
[16:25] <Teezer> I don't see how people lay out in the sun and just
[16:25] SphynxCatVP shudders
[16:25] <LadyCG> I did it last year.. but not this year.. last year
I had NO sun or heat stroke.. this year I didn't do it and I've had heat
and sun trouble already.
[16:25] <SphynxCatVP> Teezer- when you're overheated like that,
you've gotta get cold FAST
[16:26] <SphynxCatVP> I use the same principle for dealing with
[16:26] <SphynxCatVP> I haven't gotten a scar yet from a burn I
[16:26] <Lilith_girl_> lady make sure you lotion up your body when
[16:26] <LadySlinky> vinegar helps with burns
[16:26] <Teezer> always heard cold would be a shock...the quick
change in temp...could stop your heart??
[16:26] <Lilith_girl_> don't want your skin to turn to leather
[16:26] <SphynxCatVP> haven't heard of it happening
[16:26] <SphynxCatVP> hypothermia would come first
[16:26] <LadyCG> I only tan for about three months a year.. and
for short amounts of time.. it does seem to help
[16:27] <Nightdancer> I love the outdoors but don't like to be in
it...makes no sense but my friends have pre-cancer...skin...I don't
[16:27] <LadyCG> I prefer to be nocturnal myself when I have a choice
[16:27] <vlad2292000> Japanese use a hot bath then ice water within
seconds. It is quite refreshing!
[16:27] <LadyCG> is anyone here besides me nocturnally inclined?
[16:27] <SphynxCatVP> me
[16:27] <SphynxCatVP> my house is a cave
[16:28] <Teezer> yeah.. and polar bear club...lol
[16:28] <LadyCG> mine too
[16:28] <LadySlinky> I am naturally.
[16:28] <vlad2292000> I have always been.
[16:28] <SphynxCatVP> well, as cave-like as it can be with the windows
[16:28] <Teezer> yeah
[16:28] <LadySlinky> I live opposite my natural clock though
[16:28] <NightDove> I put down all my hurricane awnings so it's
dark as a tomb in here
[16:28] <Teezer> always been a night person.
[16:28] <LadyCG> maybe we vamps just do not belong out in the sun
[16:28] <Nightdancer> I'm like that too...hardly ever open drapes
except to keep electric bill down...very high out here
[16:28] <Sanguinarius> I'm nocturnally inclined
[16:28] <EloraGrey> I have never tanned in my life.
[16:29] <Sanguinarius> cave-like is good
[16:29] <Nightdancer> Me either
[16:29] <LadyCG> maybe we are meant by our very genetic makeup to
[16:29] <vlad2292000> my natural clock says I should just be waking
up. I hate living in the daylight.
[16:29] <Lilith_girl_> all vamps are nocturnal aren't they
[16:29] <NightDove> I turn red throw up and fade to white!
[16:29] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[16:29] <EloraGrey> sounds like me night dove
[16:29] <Sanguinarius> my apartment except for the bedroom, is cave-like;
bedroom is very bright...stupid picture window
[16:29] <Nightdancer> all my children are nocturnal...I mean I needed
canons to get them awake for school
[16:29] <SphynxCatVP> I told my boss I'm going to be doing a lot
of working at night due to the heat
[16:29] <Lilith_girl_> I take late classes and I do everything in
the night hours
[16:29] <SphynxCatVP> I like working at home
[16:30] <EloraGrey> my mom swears I was nocturnal in the womb
[16:30] <NightDove> LOL
[16:30] <Sanguinarius> I hate the diurnal bigotry I receive
[16:30] <vlad2292000> I need a job like that! in fact I need a job!
[16:30] <Lilith_girl_> my bedroom is pitch black 24/7
[16:30] <LadyCG> so far what we all seem to have in common: nocturnal..
can't take sun..., we all have health problems. and most of us have been
through drastic physical changes as we have aged
[16:30] <Teezer> I worked night shift for many years
[16:30] <NightDove> This is great! I've finally found my own kind!
[16:30] <Lilith_girl_> I have red velvet drapes and blinds on my
windows and my room is black
[16:30] <Sanguinarius> one fellow told me, "Well, get up in
the morning and shine a bright light in your ace, and it'll reset your
clock to what it should be"
[16:30] <Sanguinarius> :/
[16:30] <LadyCG> what age did everyone start to go through the changes?
[16:30] <Sanguinarius> I wanted to strangle him
[16:30] <LadyCG> I was 37 - 38
[16:31] <EloraGrey> I'm 36
[16:31] <Lilith_girl_> Lady the beginning or now
[16:31] <vlad2292000> same here
[16:31] <Sanguinarius> I need to shop for some drapes
[16:31] <Lilith_girl_> oh ok
[16:31] <LadySlinky> yah
[16:31] <Lilith_girl_> a few years back
[16:31] <NightDove> I've changed a couple of times really
[16:31] <Sanguinarius> which changes?
[16:31] <LadyCG> when did it become noticeable to you Lilith?
[16:31] <SphynxCatVP> a few years ago is when I noticed the photosensitivity
[16:31] <LadySlinky> 3 years ago
[16:31] <LadyCG> how old would that have made you?
[16:31] <vlad2292000> it seems to be a constant change after you
get in the 30's
[16:31] <Sanguinarius> at what age, though?
[16:31] <Lilith_girl_> about 45
[16:31] <Lilith_girl_> years old
[16:32] <Teezer> yeah been a couple of years on the light aversion..
[16:32] <LadySlinky> 27
[16:32] <NightDove> 45 is when the changes start mounting up
[16:32] <Lilith_girl_> I may have had ones before I remember feeling
odd in my 30s
[16:32] <LadyCG> so for the most of us from 35 to 45...
[16:32] <Lilith_girl_> yep
[16:32] <Nightdancer> I started noticing things getting worse around
38 or so
[16:32] <Lilith_girl_> now when did everyone awaken what age
[16:32] <LadySlinky> Good to know what I have to look forward to
[16:32] <NightDove> I think we have always been changing but our
bodies could make adjustments at a younger age.
[16:33] <Sanguinarius> Allergies seem to bother me a lot more than
in the past
[16:33] <LadyCG> I was in my late teens
[16:33] <EloraGrey> awakened? I was late. I was 26
[16:33] <LadyCG> when I awakened
[16:33] <LadySlinky> 16ish
[16:33] <Lilith_girl_> I was 14
[16:33] <Ku_Shin> hi Kel
[16:33] Sanguinarius , in the great and ancient traditional Slavinian
Friendship Greeting, bows low, plucks a nosehair and offers it to Kelandris
[16:33] <LadyCG> welcome Kel!
[16:33] <Kelandris> GAH.
[16:33] <Teezer> I notices vamps seem to have a lot of health problems
for a race that is supposed to be.. superior physically??
[16:33] <EloraGrey> mostly because I didn't know what was going
on until I met the right people who could tell me
[16:33] Sanguinarius figures that's all due to lack of proper diet
[16:33] <Sanguinarius> (adequate blood)
[16:34] <EloraGrey> exactly
[16:34] <LadySlinky> I often wonder how much our health problems
are connected with how we live.
[16:34] <SphynxCatVP> I've been awakened since early early childhood,
even if I didn't have a name for it then
[16:34] <LadyCG> one of things I noticed first when I started to
change was my muscle density increased.. I am a body builder, so it was
very noticeable to me
[16:34] <Kelandris> Superior physically only counts if you're not
getting the proper nutrients, in ADDITION to getting fed the proper amount.
[16:34] <Teezer> virtually absent from my diet right now..
[16:34] <Lilith_girl_> now that I think about it since I awakened
I had a weird change in every decade
[16:34] <Sanguinarius> <Kelandris> Superior physically only
counts if you're not getting the proper nutrients, in ADDITION to getting
fed the proper amount.
[16:34] Sanguinarius tends to figure that is so
[16:34] <SphynxCatVP> I always had decent strength, but since my
back went out, I can't lift as much as I used to - it's frustrating
[16:34] <Nightdancer> same with Sphynx...I called it "behind
[16:34] <Nightdancer> *with me
[16:35] <vlad2292000> in some respects, we seem to have a muscular
advantage, and even some advantage in out bones. Have any broke bones
[16:35] <SphynxCatVP> "behind the eyes" ? huh?
[16:35] <LadyCG> I KNOW I am healthier since I went to large amount
of blood in my diet
[16:35] <Nightdancer> I was about three or four
[16:35] <SphynxCatVP> Ahhh
[16:35] <LadyCG> I haven't broke a bone since I was 16
[16:35] <EloraGrey> I broke a toe 8 years ago.
[16:35] <Teezer> never broke a bone
[16:35] <SphynxCatVP> yea, that sounds about right for me
[16:35] <NightDove> I've never broken anything..
[16:35] <Kelandris> I'm healthier when I feed, not as when I'm not.
But I have health problems above and beyond no matter what.
[16:35] <Nightdancer> I knew I was different and I would say...I
am behind the eyes
[16:35] <Sanguinarius> my body's gone all to hell since I haven't
been getting blood, and I'm only *mumbles* 34
[16:35] <LadySlinky> I got a hairline fracture when I was young
[16:36] <NightDove> Sangi... stop eating starch. It'll kill ya.
[16:36] <Sanguinarius> body and health
[16:36] <vlad2292000> I feel six feet, landed on my side on concrete,
without breaking a bone.
[16:36] <LadyCG> I went to bloody diet when I realized I had nothing
to lose. I felt better almost at once
[16:36] <Kelandris> Or at least reduce the amount of starch you're
[16:36] <Lilith_girl_> I break easy but heal very fast I once broke
my leg and in a few days I took off the cast and was walking fine I went
to the doctor and he x-rayed me and said my leg was good to go
[16:36] <EloraGrey> did you bounce Vlad?
[16:36] <Sanguinarius> <snerkle>
[16:36] <EloraGrey> :P
[16:36] <SphynxCatVP> heh
[16:36] <LadyCG> another question for the group... how many here
are or were ADHD?
[16:36] <SphynxCatVP> me
[16:36] <LadySlinky> me
[16:36] <Kelandris> Not me.
[16:37] <LadyCG> me
[16:37] <Nightdancer> I have never broken a bone
[16:37] <EloraGrey> I've been told that I am ... but I've never
looked into it
[16:37] <vlad2292000> they said I did, but was up almost instantly.
[16:37] <NightDove> Nope.. I was just a pain in the ass as a student
[16:37] <Teezer> *eats a lot of starch* lol
[16:37] <Sanguinarius> I haven't been diagnosed with that, but I
was diagnosed as hyperactive when I was a child.
[16:37] <Sanguinarius> I suspect that I'm at least somewhat ADHD,
[16:37] <LadyCG> it seems common among vampyres, that is why I asked
[16:37] <EloraGrey> yeah that's what they called it when we were
[16:37] <Kelandris> However, I hyper-focus, which is symptomatic
[16:37] <SphynxCatVP> I was so bad with ADHD as a kid at first the
schools thought I was retarded because they were so boring I didn't pay
[16:37] <LadySlinky> I do much better on meds
[16:37] <Sanguinarius> *nod*
[16:37] <SphynxCatVP> It got much better once my folks put me on
a health food diet
[16:37] <Ku_Shin> I didn't find school very interesting either
[16:38] <SphynxCatVP> I can multitask really well - Sangi can attest
[16:38] <EloraGrey> school bored the heck outta me
[16:38] <LadyCG> the doctors tried to tell my parents I was autistic
as a very small child.. but then I learned to talk, lol...
[16:38] <Kelandris> Well, unless you have great teachers, school's
[16:38] <Lilith_girl_> we are mortals and we are human so we will
have loads of medical problems like everyone else
[16:38] <Sanguinarius> I was in the Gifted/Talented class, the Behavior
Disorders class AND the Learning Disorders (Disabilities?) class!
[16:38] SphynxCatVP laughs
[16:38] <LadyCG> I do not FEEL human.. have not in years!
[16:38] <EloraGrey> lord that sounds like my oldest son! LOL
[16:38] <NightDove> I'm mortal but I'm not human... anymore
[16:38] <Kelandris> Right, Lilith, but we're trying to track what,
if anything, we all have in common.
[16:39] <Sanguinarius> how so not human, NightDove?
[16:39] <LadyCG> I know how you feel nightdove
[16:39] <LadyCG> I do not call myself human either
[16:39] <Lilith_girl_> we are still vampire we feel things that
most humans don't feel
[16:39] <NightDove> I eat a weird diet, my body is banged up from
trying to be human.
[16:39] <NightDove> if I'm to recover I must consider that I am
[16:39] <SphynxCatVP> celiac will give anyone a banged up body if
they don't discover it
[16:40] <Sanguinarius> I consider myself human, but also a vampire
(just different from your "average" human)
[16:40] <LadyCG> how is everyone night vision?
[16:40] <SphynxCatVP> excellent
[16:40] <LadyCG> mine too
[16:40] <SphynxCatVP> I scare my cats sometimes
[16:40] <Sanguinarius> mine is really good
[16:40] <NightDove> True. But I think it's something more. I've
never heard of Celiacs who hated the sun.. etc.
[16:40] <Sanguinarius> lol
[16:40] <Kelandris> Pretty good if I'm not depleted on A.
[16:40] <SphynxCatVP> NightDove > got a point there... the celiac
person I worked with loved the sun
[16:40] <vlad2292000> I drive everyone crazy as I am a "light
nazi" turning out all the lights.
[16:40] <EloraGrey> Yeah, that's the way I look at myself, too,
.... eh, I got a little behind here lol
[16:41] <NightDove> Celiacs can eat starch, meat, vegetables...
[16:41] <Sanguinarius> vlad2292000, same here
[16:41] <Kelandris> Our roommates call us "trolls", hee.
[16:41] <SphynxCatVP> vlad2292000 > get compact fluorescents,
or the new LED bulbs - they use MUCH less electricity
[16:41] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[16:41] <SphynxCatVP> Awww, but you're OUR trolls )))
[16:41] <LadySlinky> I can adjust my eyes and have great night vision
but learned not to so I could drive
[16:41] <Lilith_girl_> whether we call ourselves human or not we
still are ...we get sick we heal and we will die...that makes us human...we
just live different think different and feel different than most people
[16:41] <EloraGrey> yeah the new fluorescents are nice
[16:41] <Sanguinarius> my parents always used to follow me around
turning off the lights and griping; now I follow them around doing the
[16:41] <Kelandris> Yeah, but I haven't found a fluorescent yet
with a flicker rate I can stand.
[16:41] <NightDove> I have blue bulbs everywhere 25 watt or night
[16:41] <LadyCG> so we now have... problems with food, physical
changes... muscle density, good bones, night vision, nocturnal, need blood
[16:42] <LadyCG> oh and sun issues
[16:42] <SphynxCatVP> Kelandris > an LED bulb would probably
do it for you then, no flicker
[16:42] <Sanguinarius> migraines?
[16:42] <Teezer> blue bulbs hmm.. *wonders where to get some*
[16:42] <Kelandris> But some of that, in my case, I can contribute
to existing medical issues.
[16:42] <SphynxCatVP> I'm waiting for them to come down in price
before we stock up
[16:42] <Kelandris> Yeah, I've been hearing about LED lights.
[16:42] <NightDove> Actually I'm 53 and I have a very muscular appearance
[16:42] <Kelandris> MIGRAINES, AAAGH.
[16:42] <LadyCG> and we agree the changes start to become drastic
between 35 and 45 as a rule, but that is variable
[16:42] <SphynxCatVP> the LED *night lights* though are AWESOME....
$5ish for something that gives a decent amount of light for our eyes
[16:42] <Lilith_girl_> damn hold up the grandkids are yelling for
[16:42] <SphynxCatVP> heheh
[16:42] <Sanguinarius> what about blacklights? Do they drive you
crazy to look at them, and the light cast off from them visually irritating?
[16:42] <Lilith_girl_> brb
[16:42] <SphynxCatVP> ok, pause for breather time
[16:43] <LadySlinky> yes
[16:43] <Kelandris> Actually, I ADORE blacklights.
[16:43] <LadyCG> I get TERIBLE migraines or used to. not so bad
now... but a lot of my health issues were put right with my high blood
[16:43] <vlad2292000> I used to think it was just women that had
migraines, but what a time I have with them!
[16:43] <SphynxCatVP> blacklights give of UV I think
[16:43] <Teezer> I get migraines a lot
[16:43] <NightDove> Black lights are ultra violet.. not good for
sun sensitive folks
[16:43] <LadySlinky> I like them but they are annoying if that makes
[16:43] <Sanguinarius> LadyCG, ergh...then they're due to hit me
sometime in the next year or so...
[16:43] <LadyCG> anyone need a smoke break beside Lilith?
[16:43] <Kelandris> I have been told that, but I find them soothing.
And I don't burn under them.
[16:43] <SphynxCatVP> I've been wearing welding glasses for over
10 years as people would wear sunglasses
[16:43] <EloraGrey> I need to brush my teeth ROFL
[16:44] <Sanguinarius> I adore the CONCEPT of blacklights. I just
can't stand them
[16:44] <LadyCG> Sangi I have read your journal.. I see signs you
are already starting to have problems, unless you always got blood rage
as bad as you do now...
[16:44] <LadySlinky> How about eye problems like glaucoma?
[16:44] <Sanguinarius> I need a coffee/cereal break
[16:44] <vlad2292000> Any UV source, sucks for me. Fluorescent or
any other source.
[16:44] <SphynxCatVP> no glaucoma here
[16:44] <Kelandris> Not so far, but...it's a possibility.
[16:44] <NightDove> I've got nerve damage in one eye... no glaucoma
[16:44] <EloraGrey> I have macular degeneration in my left eye
[16:44] <LadyCG> Ok.. lets take 5 minutes for bathroom, smokes,
[16:44] <EloraGrey> no glaucoma
[16:44] <SphynxCatVP> I take enough vitamin C I'm not worried about
[16:44] <LadySlinky> I have been borderline for 10 years.
[16:44] <LadyCG> macular degeneration runs in my family, Elora
[16:44] <Kelandris> Kayo.
[16:44] <LadySlinky> Also been told my eyes focus more then most.
[16:44] <vlad2292000> no eye probs.
[16:45] <Sanguinarius> I have gotten it bad, but not as bad as nowadays...although
in-between times seems to be less intense to deal with
[16:45] <EloraGrey> yeah it does in my dad's family too
[16:45] <NightDove> My aunt had macular degeneration
[16:45] <Teezer> *eye problems*
[16:45] <EloraGrey> although lately, it's slowed down in my "bad
eye" and my actual vision has improved in that eye - but the "good
eye" has gotten worse. LOL
[16:45] <Sanguinarius> like, the constant simmering thirst is there,
but it's not as bad as in the past...but the flare up can be truly evil
[16:45] <Sanguinarius> a major hell-bitch
[16:45] <LadyCG> my mother and sister both had macular degeneration..
I've been fortunate
[16:45] <EloraGrey> yes you have
[16:45] <SphynxCatVP> EloraGrey > Eat bean sprouts, and take
more C...lots of it
[16:46] <EloraGrey> I'll do that!
[16:46] <EloraGrey> Thanks!
[16:46] <Kelandris> I can second the bean sprouts thing. It helps.
[16:46] <Sanguinarius> mmm, bean sprouts
[16:46] <SphynxCatVP> this link has info on vitamin C used for glaucoma
and other eye issues: http://www.doctoryourself.com/klennerpaper.html
[16:46] <LadyCG> Sangi... It was one of my first changes.. the heightening
of my blood rage...
[16:46] <NightDove> bean sprouts must be washed good though
[16:46] <LadySlinky> thanks
[16:46] <SphynxCatVP> the sprouts have to be RAW but they can be
buried under whatever salad dressing you like
[16:46] <SphynxCatVP> have a handful a day
[16:46] <EloraGrey> I have the dry kind, thank goodness. I've not
progressed in almost five years now. I was diagnosed 8 years ago
[16:47] <Kelandris> Yeah, but if you buy them in the boxes with
the little holes, you can run the entire box under water, shake the whole
thing out, no problems.
[16:47] <SphynxCatVP> they also, incidentally, reduce the photosensitivity
[16:47] <SphynxCatVP> ))
[16:47] <EloraGrey> excellent!
[16:47] <NightDove> I haven't eaten vegetables for years... or meat
[16:47] <EloraGrey> and I love sprouts so it works out
[16:47] <EloraGrey> LOL
[16:47] <Sanguinarius> what do you eat?
[16:47] <Teezer> says page not found
[16:47] <LadyCG> Elora.. don't be too surprised if your eyes actually
IMPROOVE... I find whatever is happening to me gets VERY bad, then whatever
part of my body or system that is affected suddenly get better all by
itself, which is one of the oddest things for me
[16:48] <Teezer> *potato chips* yay.. lol
[16:48] <SphynxCatVP> NightDove > I know you've got extenuating
circumstances with your celiac thing
[16:48] <Nightdancer> what do you eat NightDove?
[16:48] <EloraGrey> Yeah mine have been getting better - and it
HAS been shocking. I've been legally blind since I was 13 LOL
[16:48] <NightDove> Lactose free milk and chocolate mostly... no
vitamin troubles though.
[16:48] <EloraGrey> brb
[16:48] <LadyCG> NightDove.. have you TRIED a diet heavy on the
[16:48] <Sanguinarius> I'm legally blind in my left eye. I have
a partially detached retina
[16:48] <SphynxCatVP> ouch
[16:48] <SphynxCatVP> I didn't know that before
[16:49] <LadyCG> brb... need a P break, lol
[16:49] <NightDove> Nope. I'm a vegetarian.. used to be a no animal
food at all person.
[16:49] <Lilith_girl_> hey I gotta run...my grandkids need my attention
I will try and come back
[16:49] <Kelandris> Awww. Okay.
[16:49] <Sanguinarius> does chocolate help anybody deal with the
[16:49] <Sanguinarius> to make it less?
[16:49] <SphynxCatVP> only in milk :P
[16:49] <Teezer> vegan?
[16:49] <SphynxCatVP> but not really
[16:49] <Sanguinarius> milk seems to help somewhat
[16:49] <NightDove> chocolate IS blood.... right???
[16:50] <Teezer> yes chocolate helps
[16:50] <SphynxCatVP> I find my b-complex works great for that
[16:50] <Kelandris> Not chocolate...Algae does, weirdly--like, algae
drinks, juiced vegetable blends and the like.
[16:50] <LadySlinky> I don't know if it helps any but I eat a lot
of it when craving
[16:50] <Teezer> dark chocolate better.
[16:50] <Sanguinarius> mmmmm
[16:50] <SphynxCatVP> I tried a pseudo algae drink, my stomach screamed
in terror and ran off
[16:50] <Kelandris> Chocolate is blood?
[16:50] <LadySlinky> yuck milk chocolate better
[16:50] <Kelandris> Maybe I just like sludge.
[16:50] <Sanguinarius> choclate syrup
[16:51] <Teezer> Hershey's chocolate syrup ..right out of the can..
[16:51] <NightDove> Chocolate milk has Carrageenan in it ... seaweed...
[16:51] <Nightdancer> I get sugar free...I worry about diabetes...runs
[16:51] <LadyCG> back
[16:51] Sanguinarius puts a little milk in with her chocolate syrup to
make chocolate milk
[16:51] <Teezer> wb
[16:51] <Teezer> lol
[16:51] <Kelandris> How is chocolate like blood?
[16:51] LadyCG wonders if NightDove would be healthier on a high blood
[16:51] <LadyCG> I use chocolate to stave off blood cravings
[16:51] <Sanguinarius> I think so
[16:51] <NightDove> Probably.... now where am I going to get blood
[16:51] <SphynxCatVP> Kelandris > Might be
[16:52] <Teezer> both rich..?? lol
[16:52] <NightDove> meat in Florida is toxic...
[16:52] <Sanguinarius> pounce on the illegals?
[16:52] <LadySlinky> I find chocolate to be closest in craving to
[16:52] <Sanguinarius> strike that, please. I did NOT say that out
[16:52] <Kelandris> *snerk*
[16:52] <LadySlinky> I used to think I just could not get enough
chocolate before I had blood.
[16:52] <EloraGrey> mmmmmmmmmmm chocolate
[16:52] <LadyCG> its a good question Nightdove... I use animal blood
when I have to... or very bloody steaks, though I'll admit that I often
drink the blood off my plate and feed the meat to the dog, lol
[16:52] <vlad2292000> yes you did!
[16:52] <Sanguinarius> no I didn't
[16:53] <LadyCG> we recently did a thread on the board, testing
[16:53] Sanguinarius was thinking with her stomach, not her head
[16:53] <Teezer> also for me sweet tea helps.. (fake sugar) lol
[16:53] <Kelandris> No, she never said any such thing. We're just
sharing the mass delusion.
[16:53] <NightDove> LadyCG.. you have access to good meat. I don't.
it's foul here.
[16:53] <Sanguinarius> LadyCG, what's the url to that thread?
[16:53] <EloraGrey> well my husband just decided we need to run
to the mall
[16:53] <Nightdancer> did you read that article awhile back where
they were creating foods from blood?
[16:53] <EloraGrey> is this being logged?
[16:53] <vlad2292000> I wouldn't though, too much danger of diseases
[16:53] <Teezer> yes I did read about that.
[16:53] <Sanguinarius> sweet! now if only they could create blood
[16:53] <LadyCG> it's missing right now since the crash, I'm afraid..
but I did that article I recently wrote using the info from that thread
[16:54] <Sanguinarius> yeah, it's being logged
[16:54] <Teezer> *wrings out steak in glass* lol
[16:54] <EloraGrey> cool. I'll catch everyone later then. have a
[16:54] <NightDove> We need to take blood from cattle like they
[16:54] <Sanguinarius> ack
[16:54] <Kelandris> Ack?
[16:54] <vlad2292000> I used to.
[16:54] <Teezer> *patches up hole*
[16:54] <LadyCG> do you know though.. what the most COMMONLY effective
[16:54] <Sanguinarius> I think she quit due to it's being logged?
[16:54] <LadyCG> (hold your stomachs...)
[16:55] <vlad2292000> needles and jar!
[16:55] <NightDove> pickles?
[16:55] <LadyCG> Semen.
[16:55] <Nightdancer> Don't the Massai (however it's spelled) drink
milk and blood
[16:55] <Sanguinarius> ewwww
[16:55] <Kelandris> I thought she quit due to her husband saying,
she needed to go to the mall now, and she'd catch up with the logfile
[16:55] <Teezer> lol
[16:55] <Sanguinarius> ok, what's the second?
[16:55] <LadyCG> lol
[16:55] <vlad2292000> beef blood!
[16:55] <Teezer> yeah.. same nutrients as blood
[16:55] <LadyCG> donors are easier to find.. **tongue in cheek
[16:55] <Sanguinarius> I am NOT ingesting semen...
[16:55] <LadyCG> donors, even
[16:55] <LadyCG> lmao!!!
[16:56] <LadyCG> I'm just telling what feedback we got, lol
[16:56] <Teezer> *tongue where?* O.O
[16:56] <Teezer> lol
[16:56] <Sanguinarius> I know
[16:56] <NightDove> I'm looking for a chocolate donor...
[16:56] <Sanguinarius> errrr
[16:56] <Sanguinarius> I know
[16:56] <Kelandris> I did a lot of that before the Dyke Urge surfaced...I
can't say it helped AT ALL with the blood hunger. Sorry, guys, that theory's...hrm...blown
out of the water.
[16:56] <Teezer> *laughs*
[16:56] <LadyCG> chocolate was WAY up the list
[16:57] <Teezer> does sweet tea help anyone..? or is that a southern
[16:57] <LadyCG> but what we found out most was that there really
is NOT a great sub for blood to keep blood rage at bay.. except bloodwine,
which is just another way to get blood
[16:57] <Kelandris> Define sweet tea.
[16:57] <Teezer> tea with sugar (sweetener)
[16:57] <vlad2292000> mother's milk. It contains the same essence
that semen does!
[16:57] <SphynxCatVP> what IS sweet tea?
[16:57] <Sanguinarius> what's the best kind of (still affordable)
steak to buy to cook rare/med-rare? I bought a marinating steak and wasn't
too impressed with it
[16:57] <Teezer> *points up at sweet tea* lol
[16:57] <SphynxCatVP> Ah, ok
[16:57] <Kelandris> Guy told me to juice spinach and beets, and
that was a great alternative to blood, and--when I can get it, I don't
have a juicer--it works pretty well.
[16:57] <Nightdancer> In the south they always have sweet tea...you
have to ask for no sugar there
[16:57] <SphynxCatVP> sweet tea, I like it, but with sugar
[16:58] <Sanguinarius> there is no real substitute for blood, unfortunately
[16:58] <NightDove> Tea = 4 oz tea.... 1lb sugar.. heh heh
[16:58] <Teezer> wb
[16:58] <Wingsey> I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack
[16:58] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[16:58] <Teezer> *hands Wingsey sweet tea* lol
[16:58] <Wingsey> lol. thanks
[16:58] <Kelandris> GAAAAH....NEVER put that much sugar in iced
tea! The poor tea!
[16:58] <LadyCG> WB Wings!
[16:58] <vlad2292000> I did do v8. it helped some.
[16:58] <Wingsey> *gulps thirstily and looks for bloodwine
[16:58] <Wingsey> thanks hunny
[16:58] <Teezer> cant do the v8 *shudders*
[16:58] <Kelandris> Nor I, too much tomato acid.
[16:58] <NightDove> yeah.... tomato sauce is good.. just don't use
[16:58] <LadyCG> me either.. I don't like V8
[16:58] <Wingsey> you might not like my coffee then
[16:58] <Wingsey> Liquid Lightning
[16:59] <Teezer> drink coffee black.
[16:59] <Kelandris> Well, weirdly, coffee I junk up--coffee I take
a little coffee with my cream and sugar.
[16:59] <Wingsey> 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cream itty-bitty bit
[16:59] <Sanguinarius> brb, *needs more coffee*
[16:59] <LadyCG> I sometimes find WINE helps stave off blood cravings..
if you drink enough...
[16:59] <Kelandris> I drink ESPRESSO black, though.
[16:59] <Kelandris> Can't take red wine, though--MIGRAINE inducer.
[16:59] <vlad2292000> true, CG
[16:59] <Teezer> espresso I like flavored...mmm raspberry..
[16:59] <Wingsey> *sighs* I wish I had a nice wonderful donor
[16:59] <Teezer> prefer white wine.
[16:59] <NightDove> wine isn't good for me either.. beer is much
[16:59] <LadyCG> we ALL wish we had donors...
[16:59] <SphynxCatVP> V8 and carrot juice
[16:59] <Teezer> beer...eww..
[17:00] <SphynxCatVP> oddly enough
[17:00] <SphynxCatVP> I can't stand straight carrot juice, but it's
good mixed with v8
[17:00] <LadyCG> now I understand what I didn't understand about
my grandfather growing up...
[17:00] <Wingsey> hun, V8 IS carrot juice
[17:00] <Teezer> veggies were not meant to be drunk.. lol
[17:00] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:00] <LadyCG> I understand why he did the things he did to feed...
[17:00] <vlad2292000> I used to do Bloody Marys.
[17:00] <Kelandris> Carrot juice is another good one, but I'm not
sure if it just alleviates the cravings, or ups the Vit. A in my system
and my system calms down.
[17:00] <Wingsey> with other veggies added in for flavor
[17:00] <SphynxCatVP> ups the vit. A at least
[17:00] <SphynxCatVP> carrots are a good source of beta carotene,
the body converts that to vitamin A
[17:00] <Kelandris> Yep
[17:00] <Wingsey> yuppers
[17:00] <LadyCG> maybe we need to ask ourselves how our vampiric
[17:01] <Nightdancer> I love V8 and fresh carrot juice
[17:01] <Wingsey> I drink milk so I don't need sunlight. *winks*
[17:01] <vlad2292000> we took!
[17:01] <LadyCG> my grandfather was a vampyre...
[17:01] <Kelandris> By knocking people down and...well.
[17:01] <SphynxCatVP> I'd love to, but I'm the only knowing vamp
in my family
[17:01] <Teezer> I think my dad was a psi vamp...always drama and
extreme highs and lows.
[17:01] <LadyCG> and that is what he did, Vlad.. he TOOK
[17:01] <Kelandris> I drink milk and STILL have to take Vit. D.
<-- Vit. D deficient
[17:01] <NightDove> My ancestors didn't admit it but I bet they
ate all sorts of odd things.
[17:01] <Wingsey> as far as I know I am the only vamp in my family
[17:01] <Sanguinarius> I can't drink wine anymore. makes me sick,
gives me migraines > (
[17:01] <vlad2292000> as did my father , and his.....
[17:01] <NightDove> Wine has all sorts of additives now.
[17:01] <LadyCG> our system is more humane.. but we are not healthier
[17:02] <Wingsey> started out mostly psi, but I always had a taste
for nice bloody steak
[17:02] <Kelandris> Not the good stuff.
[17:02] <SphynxCatVP> my father, his mother, his sister... possibly
my cousin on that side, but I've seen him I think 3 times since he was
[17:02] <LadySlinky> Blood was a normal part of a lot of cultures
[17:02] <Teezer> you need to make your own...lol
[17:02] <Sanguinarius> if anyone is, it'd probably be my mom
[17:02] <Teezer> wine that is..
[17:02] <vlad2292000> but we took from animals rather than man.
[17:02] <Teezer> not blood
[17:02] <Teezer> lol
[17:02] <SphynxCatVP> possibly my grandfather on my mother's side,
but I'd need to see him again to be sure
[17:02] <Sanguinarius> she has a few of the secondary symptoms and
I swear she's a psi vampire...
[17:02] <Wingsey> then new religions said it was sinful to consume
blood, and it got farther into the 'darkness' of sin to be ourselves
[17:03] Sanguinarius nods
[17:03] <LadyCG> My grandfather was horrible man.. he TOOK where
he could get it... and I'm happy we don't do that.. but we need a better
solution than we have now if all vamps are going to be healthy vamps
[17:03] <SphynxCatVP> vitamins vitamins vitamins vitamins
[17:03] <SphynxCatVP> ))
[17:03] <vlad2292000> we raised our own cattle and hogs, and would
consume when we slaughtered.
[17:03] <SphynxCatVP> (It helps)
[17:03] <Teezer> yes my dad too.. took...
[17:03] <LadyCG> vitamins don't replace blood for me, though, Sphynx
[17:03] Wingsey volunteers to be the 2005 bloodwine taste-tester
[17:03] <LadyCG> lol
[17:03] <Teezer> lol
[17:04] <SphynxCatVP> it helps support your body's health though
[17:04] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:04] <vlad2292000> LOL!
[17:04] <Kelandris> Vitamins help more, trusted sources of blood
would help better, and that's the problem.
[17:04] <Wingsey> Blood...it does a body good
[17:04] <Teezer> vitamins don't seem to do much for me.
[17:04] <LadyCG> I agree.. we need to preach vitamins to our young
[17:04] SphynxCatVP giggles
[17:04] <Sanguinarius> w00t!
[17:04] <vlad2292000> LMAO!
[17:04] <LadyCG> and I preach meditation while I'm at the pulpit
[17:04] <SphynxCatVP> Teezer > It may depend on what you're taking
and how much of it, AND what form it's in
[17:04] <vlad2292000> true
[17:04] <SphynxCatVP> mine are higher than RDA levels, capsule or
[17:04] <Kelandris> Exactly. Avoid the mass-market store brands,
[17:04] <Teezer> multivitamin usually..
[17:04] <NightDove> vitamins are mere imitations of food...
[17:04] <SphynxCatVP> some of them are WAY WAY WAY higher than RDA
[17:04] <Teezer> Centrum I think it was...
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> oh gack, no wonder
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> Centrums suck
[17:05] <Teezer> for women
[17:05] <Wingsey> also most vitamins are glued together by compounds
that the body can't digest, so a lot of the pills sold as supplements
just go through the system undigested
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> they don't digest for shit
[17:05] <Kelandris> Yeah, Centrum being one of those mass-market
store brands you want to avoid.
[17:05] <LadyCG> Sphynx.. could you do up a vitamin regime that
would work for most vampyres?
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> be delighted to
[17:05] <Sanguinarius> please do!
[17:05] <Kelandris> Now THERE'S an article.
[17:05] <LadyCG> I think the communities need one
[17:05] <vlad2292000> go for it!
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> I'll share mine, I'll include links to what
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> that should help
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> er, should
[17:05] <Kelandris> I'd be happy to link it.
[17:05] <Teezer> how do you know what vitamins work then and what
[17:05] <Teezer> ?
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> experience
[17:05] <LadyCG> anyone besides me find that meditation helps you
[17:05] <vlad2292000> I'll post it to SSVC
[17:05] <SphynxCatVP> the fact that I'm probably the healthiest
person in this room
[17:06] <Kelandris> And I can mirror it to Blood & Coffee, if
[17:06] <LadySlinky> Can't meditate mind wont shut up
[17:06] <Teezer> my mind usually races too much to meditate effectively
[17:06] <NightDove> LOL Lady S
[17:06] <vlad2292000> self hypnosis
[17:06] <Sanguinarius> sounds familiar here, LadySlinky
[17:06] <SphynxCatVP> NyQuil
[17:06] <Wingsey> if I try to meditate I get shut down faster than
a subway with no electricity
[17:06] <Kelandris> Meditation works, but the mind must be trained.
And that...can take a few years.
[17:06] <LadyCG> me either if we are talking transcendental... I
can't do it... BUT... I CAN and DO find guided visualizations to be awesome
[17:07] <LadyCG> anyone can do a guided visualization
[17:07] <Teezer> cant seem to calm enough.. *shrugs*
[17:07] <LadySlinky> I can trance dance just not still meditation
[17:07] <LadyCG> I have one that is for restoring energy...
[17:07] <Wingsey> that works for me, but if I meditate alone, I
go into coma-sleep mode
[17:07] <LadyCG> It helps immensely
[17:07] <Kelandris> Hey, trance meditation, dance meditation, Sufis
use dance meditation. It's still meditation.
[17:07] <NightDove> I can suck energy out of the "ether"
but that's not meditation
[17:07] <SphynxCatVP> hee hee
[17:07] <LadySlinky> different outcome though
[17:07] <Kelandris> Washing dishes can be meditation--work for hands,
the Buddhist principle. Anything can be meditative if approached in the
[17:08] <LadyCG> I like the guided visualizations because I can
use them to program myself
[17:08] <Teezer> trees help me.. sit and lean against them.. seems
to draw energy from them.. calming.
[17:08] <LadyCG> like inputting software
[17:08] <Wingsey> not for me. lol. <--herniated L5 disc, all
I need to do is get dizzy and fall on my a$$ I go to hospital. lol
[17:08] <Kelandris> Oh, trees VERY helpful. And friendly.
[17:08] <SphynxCatVP> Trees niiiiiice
[17:08] <LadyCG> I agree!
[17:08] <SphynxCatVP> earth energy calming
[17:08] Kelandris nods*
[17:08] <vlad2292000> very nice!
[17:08] <Teezer> yes just ask first.. lol
[17:08] <Wingsey> I agree with the dishes thing
[17:08] <NightDove> Trees can talk to each other too...
[17:08] <Sanguinarius> what do they say?
[17:08] <Wingsey> they do. forget can, lol
[17:08] <Teezer> never take from a tree without asking.
[17:09] <vlad2292000> music also helps a lot. CALM music, not metal!
[17:09] <NightDove> My father had one tree removed because it was
dying. Now the other tree is also sick. I think it died of a broken heart.
[17:09] <Teezer> *headbanger* lol
[17:09] <Sanguinarius> that's sad
[17:09] <Teezer> possibly
[17:09] <vlad2292000> playing music even helps me more. that's why
I started again.
[17:09] <Kelandris> Well, metal can center you in a different sense,
you just won't be CALM.
[17:09] <Teezer> lol
[17:09] <Nightdancer> Yes I like music...like what is on now
[17:09] <Teezer> can get great energy from it though.
[17:10] <Nightdancer> Dargaard...In Nomine
[17:10] <Kelandris> *nods*
[17:10] <Sanguinarius> from music?
[17:10] <Wingsey> I use trees when I ground and shield. I use Be
A Tree Method
[17:10] <LadyCG> so it seems to me we as older vamps have more in
common physically and mentally than I thought we would...
[17:10] <Teezer> twa
[17:10] <LadyCG> we have a LOT in common
[17:10] <vlad2292000> I just sit, and play my autoharp.
[17:10] <LadySlinky> Bach is just old metal
[17:10] <Teezer> *yes
[17:10] <Kelandris> Oh, sure--live music performance is best, but
sometimes, you can get enough energy from recorded music to charge you.
[17:10] <Kelandris> I've done it.
[17:10] <SphynxCatVP> or popular radio stations
[17:10] <Teezer> *nods*
[17:10] <NightDove> I never have had anything in common with anyone
else... new experience
[17:10] <SphynxCatVP> provided you can stand the music
[17:10] <Sanguinarius> that would explain why sometimes I can get
*quite* hyper when listening to music
[17:10] <LadyCG> now.. knowing that ... how do we prepare our young
vamps for what WE are going through NOW so they have it easier
[17:10] <LadyCG> ???
[17:11] <Sanguinarius> quite hyper
[17:11] <Kelandris> Well, getting them to listen is the hardest
[17:11] <SphynxCatVP> I'd say tell them to listen to their elders
but that NEVER works
[17:11] <Wingsey> music moves molecules, which is energy at a base
level, if it is strong enough it can energize you on a molecular level,
and it is a domino effect from there
[17:11] <vlad2292000> I have as well. but more good in playing for
me, as it was something I missed for sooo long.
[17:11] <Teezer> most of what we could tell them they wont believe...
[17:11] <Teezer> exactly
[17:11] <LadyCG> true.. but they all hunger for real information
[17:11] <Kelandris> Because they know everything, see, and we're
old and know nothing.
[17:11] <NightDove> I don't know where this will end. Somehow I
don't think our journey is over quite yet.
[17:11] <SphynxCatVP> it's not
[17:11] <Sanguinarius> use Garfield to teach them!
[17:11] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:11] <Kelandris> Eww.
[17:11] <LadyCG> and when they get to the point we are at now, like
us they are desperate for the REAL information we CAN provide
[17:11] <Teezer> lol
[17:12] <Teezer> mmm...lasagna...
[17:12] <SphynxCatVP> Mmmmm
[17:12] <Sanguinarius> (if anybody watched the Animal Planet last
night, you'll know what I'm talking about)
[17:12] <LadyCG> I KNOW I am still changing.. just not as fast as
[17:12] <Wingsey> I think Life is the journey, and death is the
vacation until you continue doing what you are supposed to do
[17:12] <LadySlinky> We continue doing what we are doing. Answering
their questions and filling them with our experience. We share with them.
[17:12] <vlad2292000> it's never over, don't you see? that is the
purpose of those, such as we.
[17:12] <Kelandris> And thwap them when they get out of line.
[17:12] <LadyCG> lol
[17:12] <Teezer> lol
[17:12] SphynxCatVP passes out the cluebats
[17:12] <Kelandris> *nods*
[17:12] <LadySlinky> yay bats!
[17:12] SphynxCatVP giggles
[17:12] <Teezer> *volunteers to be thwapper*
[17:12] <Ku_Shin> mmmm cluebat
[17:12] <Sanguinarius> are they vampire cluebats?
[17:13] <LadyCG> I would like to come up with a list of what vamps
can expect to go through and how to most effectively deal with it
[17:13] Wingsey takes one gleefully and adds nails and spikes to hers
[17:13] <SphynxCatVP> if we're usin' 'em they are
[17:13] <Sanguinarius> for sure
[17:13] <LadyCG> no one should have to go through what we have clueless
[17:13] <vlad2292000> to mentor, to provide, that is our reason
for being alive.
[17:13] <Kelandris> It is?
[17:13] <Teezer> only problem is every vamp is different...we have
similarities but we all go through different things?
[17:13] <Sanguinarius> it gives us a use..,.
[17:13] <Wingsey> you know, before I got to DDD, I was clueless.
I thought I was a damn freak, who spawned fellow freaks
[17:13] <LadySlinky> I think that would be best received if done
in a autobiography way
[17:13] <SphynxCatVP> we all seem to handle it differently
[17:13] <LadyCG> I am driven to teach in this life..
[17:14] <Nightdancer> do many of you look more youthful than what
most expect at your age...does your voice sound younger?
[17:14] <SphynxCatVP> probably a product of our upbringing, what
we're taught to accept
[17:14] <SphynxCatVP> yes
[17:14] <LadyCG> I am already nearly finished a vampyre handbook..
[17:14] <NightDove> Yep.
[17:14] <SphynxCatVP> I still get carded for booze
[17:14] <Sanguinarius> SWEET!!!!!!!
[17:14] <vlad2292000> it also gives them a point of contact, with
what is the reality of what we are.
[17:14] <Kelandris> Well, again, explained by current medical problems.
But yes, look/sound younger.
[17:14] <Teezer> everyone tells me I am too young.. O.O lol
[17:14] <LadyCG> Practical Vampyrism for Modern Vampyres
[17:14] <Wingsey> me too and smokes
[17:14] <Nightdancer> I did until about 33
[17:14] <Teezer> I don't feel young
[17:14] <Sanguinarius> Keep me posted LadyCG!
[17:14] <SphynxCatVP> but only if I buy the hard liquor these days,
not so much for wine anymore
[17:14] <LadyCG> it will be finished by summer
[17:14] <NightDove> I'm 53 but I have the body of a 30 yr. old.
(Face is a bit wrinkly )
[17:14] <SphynxCatVP> hehehe
[17:14] <Nightdancer> but I constantly get your voice doesn't sound
58...and such...you don't look that old
[17:14] <Teezer> lol
[17:14] <Nightdancer> what do I do...heh
[17:14] <LadyCG> Sphynx has an unfinished copy in her possession
[17:15] <Teezer> *facelift* ?? lol j/k
[17:15] Sanguinarius drools and begs for a copy
[17:15] <SphynxCatVP> yea, I'm going to read it this weekend
[17:15] <Nightdancer> have my age tattooed on me or die my hair
[17:15] <LadyCG> I would LOVE to have this common info to add to
the Aging part of my book
[17:15] <Nightdancer> I don't have gray hair yet
[17:15] <Nightdancer> my Mom didn't until in 70s
[17:15] <SphynxCatVP> I've got a few, but most people don'; notice
it until I say something
[17:15] <Wingsey> if I could kick my metabolism in to working, I
could lose about 30 pounds, I would look about 15 years younger, and I
been mistaken for a high schooler 3 years ago on the bus
[17:15] <NightDove> My mom died at 66 with brown hair
[17:15] <Teezer> premature gray runs in my family...my son had his
first gray hair at 7...
[17:15] <Wingsey> wow
[17:15] <Sanguinarius> my mom noticed *I haven't checked) that I
had some grey hairs supposedly growing on the right side of my forehead/hairline
[17:16] <Kelandris> Ooh! I have three grey hairs! I...think. I keep
losing where they are. But I think I finally have some!
[17:16] <LadyCG> my book at this point lacks ONE article I am still
working on 10 article intros and the info from this conference to update
the aging article and its finished
[17:16] <Ku_Shin> three?
[17:16] <Kelandris> WHEE!
[17:16] Ku_Shin checks hers
[17:16] <Sanguinarius> of course, that was before we dyed my hair
[17:16] <Ku_Shin> I think I have three that aren't...
[17:16] <Wingsey> not me
[17:16] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:16] <Wingsey> no grey yet
[17:16] <Sanguinarius> back to natural color
[17:16] <Teezer> yank them...they double...LOL
[17:16] <Kelandris> Do they really?
[17:16] <Kelandris> Don't kid now.
[17:16] <Wingsey> yup
[17:16] <Teezer> seems so.. lol
[17:16] <SphynxCatVP> I told Hank I was contemplating dying my hair
purple...or blue...or something
[17:16] <vlad2292000> I have the "perfect" salt and pepper
on the sides. no wrinkles!
[17:16] <Kelandris> FABulous!
[17:16] <Wingsey> that is what I heard too
[17:16] <SphynxCatVP> It'll probably end up just being dyed black
[17:16] <LadyCG> Sphynx.. how long would it take you to come up
with a vitamin regime for vampyres in transition, like we are?
[17:17] <SphynxCatVP> Um, gimme a few days?
[17:17] <Kelandris> Of course, I am thinking of dyeing the hair
again, too. *snerk*
[17:17] <SphynxCatVP> I've got paying work I need to plow through
[17:17] <Wingsey> I wouldn't mind all white hair. lol I think it
would look cool and freaky all at once
[17:17] <LadyCG> perfect...can I use it in my book?
[17:17] <LadyCG> with credit?
[17:17] <Teezer> *wonders what color this time* lol
[17:17] <SphynxCatVP> Oh sure!
[17:17] <LadyCG> wonderful
[17:17] <SphynxCatVP> I'll make a point of getting it ready this
[17:17] <NightDove> They have liquid vitamins.. better than pills
that don't dissolve.
[17:17] <Sanguinarius> all-white hair rocks
[17:17] LadyCG has very RED hair
[17:17] <Wingsey> would getting back on track with vitamins help
kick my body's metabolism and straighten out my damn insomnia?
[17:17] <Teezer> but its never ALL white...lol
[17:18] <SphynxCatVP> NightDove > I've seen the liquid kind,
but oddly enough, they don't have as much "oomph" in strength
as the capsules I'm taking do
[17:18] <Wingsey> I have black
[17:18] <Kelandris> Depends on what's causing the insomnia, Wingsey.
[17:18] <SphynxCatVP> Wingsey > Take niacin, that'll fix your
[17:18] <Wingsey> I don't know what is
[17:18] <LadyCG> everyone has had insomnia lately
[17:18] <LadyCG> its epidemic
[17:18] <NightDove> Capsules would come out as they went in with
[17:18] <SphynxCatVP> unless you have a medical cause for insomnia
[17:18] <Wingsey> summer lethargy and no desire to go to bed alone?
[17:18] <LadyCG> I wonder....
[17:18] <Teezer> I don't sleep much either.
[17:18] <Teezer> do good to get 3 or 4 hrs a night
[17:18] <Sanguinarius> Hail Sphynxie, Queen of the Vitamins!
[17:18] <Kelandris> Hee...
[17:18] <Nightdancer> I'm blond naturally but I lighten it because
if I don't get that 'are you feeling well' thing constantly cause my skin
is so pale
[17:18] <SphynxCatVP> NightDove > Oh damn, yea, take the liquids
then... sorry, I know you have celiac, but I forget too...
[17:18] <Teezer> lol
[17:19] <Wingsey> I went to bed at 7 am this morning, 5 yesterday,
4:15 day before and 4 before that. all am
[17:19] <Teezer> Vitaqueen lol
[17:19] SphynxCatVP giggles
[17:19] <SphynxCatVP> nothing wrong with promoting good health :P
[17:19] <NightDove> Y'all need to convert to a night time schedule.
[17:19] <Sanguinarius> true
[17:19] <Teezer> sounds like a new CT lol
[17:19] <LadyCG> by keeping track on the board for a couple of years
we have discovered (and this will sound baked...) that when Mercury is
in retro almost all vamps become cranky and blood-rage-y... I wonder if
there is a planetary equivalent that causes insomnia in vamps...
[17:19] <Kelandris> I would, if only my sweetie worked the night
shift. She doesn't, so I have to be less nocturnal than I want to be.
[17:19] <Wingsey> you said Pluto was retro now
[17:19] <NightDove> Mercury was retrograde when I collapsed in 1999...
[17:20] <LadyCG> yes and one other planet.. Venus I think...
[17:20] <LadySlinky> cant be nocturnal with kids
[17:20] <Wingsey> nope
[17:20] <Wingsey> I have 2 wonderful young'uns
[17:20] <Wingsey> 4 & 6
[17:20] <Kelandris> Well, you can if you make them be nocturnal,
but that's freaky on the kids.
[17:20] <NightDove> Aaaawwww....
[17:20] <SphynxCatVP> lol
[17:20] <SphynxCatVP> depends on the kids
[17:20] <Wingsey> and my oldies are 16 and 13
[17:20] LadyCG is going to make up a list of recommendations for living
as healthy older vamps from this log...
[17:21] <SphynxCatVP> kids with Xeroderma Pigmentosum kind of HAVE
to be nocturnal for their health
[17:21] <Wingsey> good I will be a guinea piglet
[17:21] <Kelandris> And on that list should be, "Stress kills,
try to relax".
[17:21] <NightDove> Tell vamps past age 35 to stop eating starch.
[17:21] <SphynxCatVP> or polymorphous light eruption
[17:21] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:21] <LadySlinky> true but they are rare Sphynx
[17:21] <SphynxCatVP> come to think of it I have backed off on the
starch th last few years
[17:21] <Kelandris> Hey, I know, Sphynx!
[17:21] <SphynxCatVP> ))
[17:21] <Wingsey> starch? as in potatoes? *gets defensive and holds
my potato hostage*
[17:21] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:21] <LadyCG> what would each of you recommend most that I put
on my list of recommendations?
[17:21] <Sanguinarius> what does "Mercury is in retro"
mean, exactly, anyway?
[17:21] <Kelandris> Never part me from my potatoes. Back off, fiends!
But all other starch should be taken in moderation.
[17:22] <Wingsey> assistance with insomnia
[17:22] <NightDove> Potatoes aren't as bad as WHEAT.. killer grain
[17:22] <Wingsey> assistance with raising metabolism
[17:22] <LadyCG> it doesn't mean they will TAKE all the advice but
we can at least offer it
[17:22] <LadySlinky> listen to your body and stay as healthy as
[17:22] <Kelandris> Well, whole grains are better than bleached
grains, and other grains are better than wheat...there's a wide variety
of older grains out there now.
[17:22] <Wingsey> some don't WANT to listen to the almighty BOD
[17:22] <LadyCG> if we can come up with good recommendations we
MIGHT be able to raise a generation of healthier elder vamps
[17:22] <SphynxCatVP> some kids wouldn't know how to listen to their
body if it leaped up and slapped them upside the head a few times with
[17:22] <vlad2292000> if they don't they pay later!!!
[17:23] <LadyCG> exactly
[17:23] <Wingsey> unless it is sprayed on the hotness of a gorgeous
[17:23] <Kelandris> Processed foods and chemicals = BAD FOR YOU.
[17:23] <SphynxCatVP> Amen!
[17:23] <NightDove> People should eat more often and less each time.
5-6 small meals a day... snacks of good food items
[17:23] <SphynxCatVP> yes
[17:23] <Kelandris> Exactly.
[17:23] <SphynxCatVP> grazing
[17:23] <Sanguinarius> I prefer smaller, more frequent meals
[17:23] <SphynxCatVP> keeps the metabolism more regular
[17:23] <LadyCG> my recommendation is that they find a way to have
a high blood content diet. it's helped me a lot
[17:23] <Wingsey> yup, but for kids in school, that is impossible
[17:24] <Kelandris> Yes, but unfortunately, without good donor availability,
impossible for some.
[17:24] <SphynxCatVP> kids in school need to develop a "healthy
food kick" :P
[17:24] <LadyCG> true.. but kids don't need it as much as we elders
[17:24] <Nightdancer> Yes but I have problems...don't drink coffee,
hardly ever drink alcohol...no drugs/illegal...don't like drugs legal
and use to be vegetarian...took all sorts of homeopathic stuff...ran a
health spa...taught massage...why do I have problems then, lol
[17:24] <LadyCG> kids can get by on some psi
[17:24] <Wingsey> no fast food by schools! *makes picket signs*
[17:24] <SphynxCatVP> blargh
[17:24] <NightDove> Nightdancer-- because you're a vampire.. that's
[17:24] <SphynxCatVP> schools need to rip out the f**king soda machines
[17:24] <LadyCG> I don't know Nightdancer.. do you have a high blood
[17:25] <Sanguinarius> something that kind of annoys me...
[17:25] <Kelandris> GAH, yes!
[17:25] <Nightdancer> well ya don't have to rub it in ....hahaha
[17:25] <Wingsey> you taught massage? DAMN I would have been a example
dummy. *donates body to the cause*
[17:25] <SphynxCatVP> LOL
[17:25] <LadyCG> lol
[17:25] <SphynxCatVP> I think we call could use a good massage
[17:25] <Nightdancer> never considered myself sanguine...that is
why I said I was reconsidering...maybe a mistake
[17:25] <vlad2292000> I'll donate!!!! Me!
[17:25] <Kelandris> That's something else--massage REALLY HELPS
with blood cravings, and regulating the body.
[17:25] <Nightdancer> Old age epiphany, lol
[17:25] <NightDove> I did the hippie health food thingy for years
and I got sicker. Now I just eat chocolate and I'm better LOL
[17:25] <Wingsey> ooooh yeah. I was told I need to find a good PT
before my injuries finally go knotted
[17:25] <Kelandris> This I can personally attest to. AND, it helps
with photosensitivity. Have no idea how, but it does.
[17:26] <LadyCG> Would anyone besides me, like to have ANOTHER conference
on this topic? anyone willing to attend?
[17:26] <Sanguinarius> with the limited availability of donors,
people who don't really need blood (fetishists, wannabees/not-real vamps,
people who just LIKE it), take up the donors
[17:26] <SphynxCatVP> that IS weird
[17:26] <SphynxCatVP> Oh! Your migraines!
[17:26] <vlad2292000> Of course I get to run around with belly dancers
[17:26] <NightDove> Sure. Might as well talk about it. Ghastly to
go through it alone!
[17:26] <Wingsey> I would
[17:26] <SphynxCatVP> Kelandris > How bad are your migraines
when you get a massage?
[17:26] <Kelandris> When I was in Kirkland, I was living with someone
in massage school, and she and another student worked on me twice a week
[17:26] <Kelandris> So I found this out.
[17:26] <Sanguinarius> If I had someone to feed me chocolate and
give me massages, I'd definitely be a happy vamp
[17:26] <Kelandris> My migraines GO AWAY.
[17:26] <SphynxCatVP> LadyCG > Yes, me (of course)
[17:27] <Kelandris> I'd be up for another convo, if I can just remember
to get my butt in here on time.
[17:27] <SphynxCatVP> I'll email you a reminder easily enough
[17:27] <Wingsey> *feeds you chocolate, cracks knuckles and massages
[17:27] <LadyCG> then I say when we have processed the info from
THIS meeting we hold another.
[17:27] <Sanguinarius> Subscribe to Sanguinarius News & Updates
at groups.yahoo.com/group/sang-news/ to receive site updates, community
information and events, and more.
[17:27] <Kelandris> It can't be on the 18th, 19th, or 26th, though.
[17:27] <LadyCG> we might get some more older vamps to attend the
next one and everyone here now knows how to get in here...
[17:27] <Kelandris> Will do that, Sangi.
[17:28] <LadyCG> so it should be easier to put another meeting together
[17:28] <Sanguinarius> kewlies!
[17:28] <NightDove> I'll give it another try. I'm a klutz at maneuvering
on the web
[17:28] <LadyCG> it would have to be next month...
[17:28] <SphynxCatVP> Emails!
[17:28] <SphynxCatVP> let's all share emails

Eerie America TV Series
Eerie America could very well be called The Fodors Travel
Guidebook for The Addams Family. I read some in-depth information
about the show and saw the promo, and from what I can tell, this
will be an absolutely AWESOME series if they can get it off the
ground. (I'm actually praying they will.) Let others know and see
who can help. This is something that should happen! Let's pull together
and make it so!
