The Black Veil', v.1.0 Plus Information. Here is the first version of the Black Veil (the "forgotten" one), from 1999. (Added: 22 March, 2007)

'The Black Veil', v. 2.0 (a.k.a. The Thirteen Rules of the Community). Composed by Michelle Belanger, here is the second version of the Black Veil, a voluntary code of ethics for vampiric groups and individuals, plus a little information about the version from Sanguinarius. 'The Black Veil', v. 3.0 Plus Information & History. Michelle Belanger places 'The Black Veil' in context within the vampire community and offers some background information regarding it's development and evolution. Includes version 3.0 of 'The Black Veil'. (Added: 19 September, 2004)

The Vampiric Ethos. This the best damned vampire-ethics document that I've seen. Based on Sylvere's "Ethical Principles for the Vampire Community"; it has contributions, additions and rewrites from Michelle Belanger, Merticus, and others, and was created from the ground up for the real vampire community as an alternative to "The Black Veil" ethics document. The Vampiric Subculture, by Sarah Dorrance. Discusses some of the factors that contributed toward the need for and the rise of the vampiric subculture / lifestyle. (Added: 11 August, 1999)
