I’m folding the Parents’ Section into the rest of sanguinarius.org. I don’t have enough material to create subsection(s) for parents, and I have already folded the teens/newly awakened vampires section into the site (better overall organization of information, hopefully). However, I’m not giving up on either teen or parent.
I am seeking input from parents with experience dealing with vampires/vampirism, vampire parenting, etc. If you have any articles, tips, advice, or anything else you’d like to share, please submit them to Sanguinarius. Be sure to include your name/handle/nick and credit/contact info (if any) you wish to be used, and give permission for me to publish your submission. Thank you muchly in advance for any help or information you may contribute to gathering and providing information for parents!
My Mommy is a Vampire: Coloring Book by Sarasvati [PDF] – Sarasvati Faolchu’s landmark coloring book, assembled as a PDF and archived here for sanguinarian parents to download and print for their young ones to color. This addresses early on some of the myths and misconceptions about real vampires.
I’ve been threatening to do this for years, but I finally got around to it. I found the files on my hard drive and assembled them into the easily downloadable and printable PDF file mentioned above; previously, the coloring book was just available as loose graphics on a web page. I think the result is rather nice.
Also completed the Good Vampires Do section. (It was quick and easy — only one page! Why not submit your own experiences with making this world a better place?)
